Ads, what exactly is the problem in your case?
You use different  VS version than Martin - you may not even need to run 
regsvr32.dll.

If you don't see source control menus at all:
- if you're using VS2005 Express Editions, you're out of luck. EE don't 
support integrated source control operations.
- otherwise, make sure you set SourceSafe as the active provider in 
Tools/Options/SourceControl/Plug-ins page. Depending on your profile you may 
need to check the 'Show all settings' checkbox at the bottom of the Options 
screen to make the source control options appear in the tree.

If the integration is still not working, and VSS is installed, use 
regedit.exe to expand the registry keys indicated below, use File/Export 
menu to save their content to a file, then paste the content of those keys 
in a reply mail.
