Problem between VSS 6.0d and VS.NET 2003

Has anyone experienced problems loosing connections to VSS projects from
within VS.NET 2003 project? For example, when using VSS linked with VS.NET,
the program will sometimes lose the link between VS and VSS. So, when you do
a get latest, it overwrites your changes.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
