    Hello,

I'm using VSS 6.0b SP6 with Office XP Developer SP 1 for a collaboration
work in Access XP. My colleague is working directly on a 8-Port-Switch, I'm
connected to the network across the 8-port-switch and after that another
5-port-switch, so that the whole bandwidth is only 2.5 % of the 100 Mbit. If
my colleague is accessing to the project does it take 10 - 15 seconds to load
(include updating). If I try to open the same project the performance is so
poor, that it takes up to 20 minutes till the loading procedure is completed.
Any suggestions what causes this effect? In two or three weeks the network
will be upgraded with a managed patch-panel, so I hope, that the
VSS-performance will boost up then, but until this time is there a
    possibility to speed up working?

    Thanks in advance

    C. Hammer
