Hi,
I'm looking to set-up VSS to version our development and staging web sites,
but I'm not sure how. Currently we have three web environments, the
development environment, staging environment, and production environment? How
could I set up the three environments with VSS?
A little background of how we work: We like to (well, we don't know but plan
on) develop by branching from the development environment, and then checking
that in to the development environment? After that project is complete we
would move the pages/code to the staging environment for testing. Once that
project is approved it's moved to production.
We're hoping to version the development and staging environments.
How can we set VSS up to work with this set-up (meaning: would we start with
a staging version, branch onto development, then merge code from development
back to staging, then push to production???)? Any ideas?
Thanks.
