Further to my previous email: We found the culprit, it's Flash MX PRO 7.2.
If you connect with flash and check in a file that does not exist in vss,
then flash creates this nameless folder under the root which is a pointer to
the root folder (and also checks in your file correctly by the way).

Macromedia probably will ignore my emails, but I think the analyzer tool
should be updated to fix this new problem. The fix should be easy: remove any
projects under the root that are pointers to the root itself. ie., a child
node should never be in the parent hirarchy of that child node itself.
