As I wrote in my previous message, I have removed the Editor setting,
which wasn't pointing at Notepad anyway. Only viewing ".txt" files cause
Notepad to be opened, all other types of files are correctly printed to
the console. I don't even have Notepad associated with ".txt" files in
general. I have searched through srcsafe.ini and ss.ini for occurancies
of "txt" and there are no associations to be found. When I right click
on the file in the SS Explorer, it asks me if I want to view it with the
SourceSafe editor or the registered application, which is correctly
stated to be TextPad. No mention of Notepad anywhere except in the list
of file extensions that are always opened with Notepad, but txt is not
in that list. Strange!
