When I launch VB6, the splash screen says SP6 below the 6.0. On the menu,
Help About says Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 (SP6).

Hi
Thanks 4 the response.
No. It does not show within the splash screen when it starts up/loads.
Any reason why this would be?

Hi
I've recently acquired a new machine. WIN XP Pro with Service Pack 2.
I program using VB 6 and so VS6 was reinstalled. After installation of
VS6
I attempted to apply Service Pack 6. The process went through
successfully.
However when I launch VB6 there is no longer anything that indicates
that
a Service Pack has been applied i.e when loading or in Help/About.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue?
.
