MSVCRT.DLL problems in WinMe

Hi

I have a program written in VC++ 6.0 that runs in Windows 98, 2000 and XP
Pro but in Windows Me gives the error:

"Program has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL. Program will now close."

It also suggests that I restart the computer, which doesn't even work a
little bit.

Anyone have any ideas why this would be?
