work correctly -- it removes the old executable and replaces it with
the new version. However, it does not remove the program listing from
the Add/Remove programs section of the control panel. Therefor, each
time an upgrade is installed, a new entry shows up in the Add/Remove
list for the same program.

Is there a way to remove these in a deployment project? Any way for
me to make sure only one exists in the Add/Remove list?

Hi,
Is your application making any registry entires?
