After upgrading PB with all available QFE patches and testing the new image,
I get the following warning when deploying my C# CF application to the
target:
Files in the package 'netcf.all.wce4.x86.cab' are more recent on the device
than on the development computer.
I was hoping that an upgrade of the CF SDK for VS .NET 2003 would solve the
problem, but i have not been able to find one - anyone that could assist me
here? There are several upgrades of the .NET framework and SP's but none
for the CF SDK that resides in the CompactFrameworkSDK folder under the
Visual Studio .NET 2003 folder. By the way I upgraded the computer with
.NET framework 1.1 SP1, but that did not make any difference. I also
generated a new SDK from PB and installed this one on the computer, but I
think that only affects applications buildt using Embedded Visual C++.
Anyway that did not make any difference either. I even found a tool for
inspecting and upgrading the CF on the target, but my problem is the other
way around - getting the development system upgraded. Any help on this
matter would be greatly appreciated!
