Seen as how little it seems you know about computers, you would probally fail
to realise that very little software can destroy your hard drive, and force
you to buy anouther. SP2 is one of these things that *will not* cause these
type of issuse. Do you even know what you are talking about?
Computers are increbily complex pieces of electronics, and thus, when
installing something that will make as extreme changes to the software runing
the machine, you should back up your data, have working reinstall disks
ready, and have the understanding and knowledge and skill to be able to
troubleshoot and fix any problems that occour. If you think that you couldnt
reinstall windowsz, due to some errors in the install process of SP2 (or, as
you think, in the actaull SP2 software) then, reformat your hard drive, and
restore your data from the *backup* you should have made.
If you can't do this, take your computer to the nearest repair store and pay
for a technitian to complete this task for you.
Sp2 deployed painlessley for me, on my home computers, on my freinds and
family computers etc etc. Not an ounce of trouble that couldnt be rectified
within minutes.
(I apologise for my spelling, i have issues with it at times)
