multi-threaded Visual C++ application. The solution consists of three
projects, two built as static libraries and one as executable which links in
the two libraries. All three projects are built using Debug configuration.
However, when I set break points at certain location in my source file, the
debugger pops up a dialog box saying there is no source code at that
location and shows me the assembly code instead. Basically I'm losing the
source level debugging capability at that point. I'm pretty sure there are
meaningful code at that location and I've tried rebuilt the entire solution
multiple times to no avail. Sometimes, the problem manifests itself in other
ways. For example, after a breakpoint is successfully hit, the "Local" watch
window shows "<undefined value>" for variables that are just initialized or
assigned. These problems are sporatic in the sense that sometimes it
recovers by itself. It seems that the debugging information is corrupted
somehow.
