First of all, I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this, however,
I am searching for a candidate for the following position:
We are currently seeking a Web Systems Analyst for a permanent position
in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Will design, implement, and administer web-based solutions for Web
applications and Internet/Intranet based Web Sites. Work with and
provide architectural directions to on-site and off-site web
development teams as the subject matter expert (SME) on development
projects. Work with external web site hosting vendors as one of the
main points of contact for ensuring successful deployment and
maintenance of corporate web sites.
JOB FUNCTION:
·Responsible for the architecture, design and development of all
Internet and Intranet applications.
·Work closely with Marketing, Alliance and regional business units to
conceptualize, design, develop, implement and maintain multiple web
technology related projects that vary in scope, size and complexity
·Work with and manage relationships with outside service and hosting
providers.
·Create and enforce standards, best practices, and improved
deployment strategies.
·Act as primary point of contact and troubleshooter for web systems
and application issues.
·Recommend improvements of user interface (UI), performance,
reliability, security, and search-friendliness of Internet
applications.
·Work with on-site and off-site developers to manage deliverables,
integrate code, and develop subject matter expertise.
·Keep abreast of new emerging technologies such as .NET (C#), .NET
Web Services, AJAX, BizTalk 2004/2006, and SQL server 2000.
·Recommend directions on architecture, security, and load balancing
configuration of clustered web farms.
·Facilitate capture & reporting of web site activities such as
trends, hits, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
·Requires 6-8 years full life cycle web site development experience
(Intranet/Internet/Extranet) for high transaction volume large scale
applications.
·Knowledge of Web Technologies, Web standards (XHTML, CSS,
JavaScript), SEO Standards.
·Exceptional hands-on experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, ASP.NET (C#),
and JavaScript.
·Exceptional experience in designing and developing using Web
Services, XML, XSL technologies.
·Experience in ADO.NET, SQL Server, and scripting for web-based
utilities required.
·Experience with superior UI design concepts, 'branding', and
personalization required.
·BizTalk, Active Directory experience is preferred.
·Knowledge of Web Farms, Load Balancing, and DNS Round Robin is
required.
·Should posses clear understanding of SSL technologies.
·Knowledge of SSO, Federated identity is a plus. Knowledge of web
services, W3C Security standards is preferred.
·Should have clear concepts in IIS 5.0/6.0 and Windows 2000/2003
environments.
·Should have experience in Configuration Management & Website
deployment.
·Bachelor's degree highly preferred
·Strong interpersonal, problem solving, decision-making and project
management skills required.
·Excellent teamwork and good oral/written, communication and
presentation skills required.
