Actually, Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office IS a stand-alone, separate
product--it's not a plug-in, and you don't need another edition of Visual
Studio in addition to VSTO. VSTO comes with a full Visual Studio development
environment. You can compare the features that come with the VSTO
development environment with other editions of Visual Studio here:
