DWMX comes up for .net executable

I went to Developer.com to help myself learn the visual basic .net
language. I downloaded the framework and SDK. Typed in the basic "Hello
World" program to notepad. Save it. Then went to the console (command
prompt) just as the tutorial said and then went to the directory of the
saved *.vb program and it is supposed to run and read "Hello World".
Well when I go to execute the program Dreamweaver opens up in the code
view with everything I typed in Notepad. How do I get Dreamweaver out
of the picture and my program to execute through the command prompt
console like it is supposed to???
