It would be helpful if the article mentioned you needed to install the SDK.
It seems that 2005 did not require a seperate SDK install and 2008 does.

I'm trying to create a VSPackage in Visual Studio 2008 Professional following

However, when I go to IN the New Project dialog box, expand Other Project
Types, and then click Extensibility I do not have a Template called "Visual
Studio Integration Package". I only have "Visual Studio Add-in" and "Shared
Add-in".
Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to get the "Visual Studio
Integration Package" template? Thanks.
