I am afraid this is a feature of the VS.NET setup project, it would map the
targeting project's file location structure into the installation
directory, so in this scenario, if you do not want your content files in
the original subfolder(e.g. MyContent), how about moving the content files
in the root folder of the targeting project, then they will be installed in
the installation dir directly...
At the same time, we do understand your concern on this issue, you want to
control the content files installation location on the setup project
side(not simple map the target project's file location), am I right? If so,
I will pass this feedback to the product dev team and push them to take it
seriously.
