Hi Douglas,
I'm stumped on how I add control to the panel and add the panel to thetabpage.
You can set the Parent property of the controls to the panel and set the
Parent property of the panel to the tabpage as you have mentioned.
Alternatively, you can call the Panle.Controls.Add method to add the
controls to the panel and call the TabPage.Controls.Add method to add the
panel to the tabpage.
The following is a sample. It requires that you add a TabControl on the
form.
Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
Dim pl As New Panel
Dim txtbox As TextBox
For i As Integer = 0 To 9
txtbox = New TextBox
txtbox.Location = New Point(5, (txtbox.Height + 5) * i)
txtbox.Parent = pl
'or call the Panel.Controls.Add method
'pl.Controls.Add(txtbox)
Next
pl.Height = (txtbox.Height + 5) * 10
pl.Parent = Me.TabControl1.TabPages(Me.TabControl1.TabCount - 1)
'or call the TabPage.Controls.Add method
'Me.TabControl1.TabPages(Me.TabControl1.TabCount -
1).Controls.Add(pl)
Me.TabControl1.TabPages(Me.TabControl1.TabCount - 1).AutoScroll =
True
End Sub
Hope this helps.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
Sincerely,
Linda Liu

most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
