Hi Doug,

Based on my understanding, you want to determine if your Exe is launched by
VS IDE under debugging. If I have misunderstood you, please feel free to
tell me, thanks.

..Net exposes System.Diagnostics.Debugger.IsAttached property to check if a
debugger is attached to your process, please refer to the code snippet
below:

bool fDebugging=System.Diagnostics.Debugger.IsAttached;
if (fDebugging)
{
Console.WriteLine("Some debugger is attaching you!");
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("You are running without debugging!");
}
