I have this problem recently. The Visual Studio .NET Combined Help
Collection
is responding very slow when I use the "Index" to search for something.
Under
"Contents" it seems ok. When I type in something in the "Look for:" Field
and
enter, I see "Downloading..." appears on the status bar at the bottom. I
guess it is contacting the MSDN web site for the information instead of on
my
local machine. Does anybody know how to fix this problem
