How to set user group for sql 2005 express application

I have built an application using vs 2005 and sql 2005 express.
I have used windows authenication in sql server 2005
I have added the USER group to the sql server 2005 logins (or at least I
think I have:: BUILTIN\user), and given read/write permissions to the
database.

The application will run if and only if the logged in user is a member of
the windows admin group.

I need to be able to limit the access to only selected windows groups and to
date have not been able to find any combination of settings that will work.

"a cry from the wilderness -- for some help!!"
