Problem with Emacs Key Bindings and the Command Window in VS 2005

I haven't verified this with any other version, but in my install of
Visual Studio 2005 Team Developer, if I select the Emacs keyboard
mapping scheme, then try to enter a command in the Command Window, I
cannot use some basic editing commands. For instance, neither Ctrl-A
or Home will move the cursor to the beginning of the command. Left and
right direction buttons will move the cursor, and holding shift will
add to the selection. Most troublesome of all, hitting Enter will not
run the command as input. If I switch to the default or Visual C# 2005
key bindings, editing in this window functions as normal.

Anyone have any suggestions how I could resolve this problem and still
use the Emacs scheme for normal editing?
