Hi Alex,
If you really want to change the default icon of the target machine excel
file, you may update the corresponding registry key in the target machine
via your setup package. For a Office 2003 excel file, the corresponding key
is:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.***.8\DefaultIcon
You need to specify the new icon file(or location) in that key, it will
take effect after reboot...
