Every time I try to run an ASP.NET application in Debug mode from Visual
Studio .NET, my whole machine simply just locks up, and I am not able to get
anything to work anymore. But if I try to run the application from IE and
directly go to the page, it works fine without any problems. The only thing
I have done to my computer is install .NET SP 1 for 1.1, and as soon as I did
that I started to have this problem. I only have .NET 1.1 on my machine. I
have checked for viruses, adware/spyware, uninstalled VS NET and reinstalled,
uninstalled .NET Framework and reinstalled, I have tried aspnet_regiis -i,
uninstalled IIS and reinstalled it, nothing works, everytime I try to run a
ASP.NET application from VS.NET 2003, it just simply hangs up, and the whole
machine just locks up and I have to hit the power button to turn off the
computer. I even left the computer for a day just to simply see if the
computer would respond, but a day later it was still in the same hung state.
Does anyone have any ideas, as I can't even really debug the problem because
my whole machine just locks up. I don't have this problem when I tried
Windows Forms application in VS.NET 2003. Any ideas???
