Thanks Wayne - that's brilliant - it now prompts for the
windows authentication and accepts it. For anyone reading
this, its worth pointing out that I had to reboot the
server m/c after unchecking the Use Simple File Sharing
box before it took effect.
I wonder if this is documented anywhere???
