okay! since i had no luck searching for a tfs-group i hope its okay posting
my issue here.
Two servers: srv1 and srv2 (both windows 2003)
srv1 running the dc and srv2 running external programs such as tfs2008
the problem is, that the clients cannot connect to the tfs at srv2. The
connection error ID goes as 31002 saying that the portnumber or protocol
might be incorrect the password has expires or tfs is offline. None of these
is correct.
Since the tfs just has been installed i think the error is caused due to
rights - the users at srv1 (the dc) needs to get some kind of rights to
connect to tfs at srv2. I have tried to join all the users into a group at
srv1, lets call it TFS Client Group and then, at srv2, added the TFS Client
Group to srv2's Administrator group but without any luck.
I now i am missing something - but what?
