Multiple EIF Configuration File

Hi,
as part of our EIF setup we have setup our CMB.xml file to contain
configuration details including connection strings that contain username and
password details. Our internal security protocols require passwords to change
on a regular basis by our enterpise team, who work on a live environment
only.
In addition to this we (occasionally) change other config information in our
CMB.xml file. We (the developers) do not know live passwords, only dev
password, so when we deploy our config changes it will overwrite the
passwords we use from our dev environment to our live environment.
This causes headaches. Ideally we would like two EIF config files one (A)
containing connection strings with passwords and one (B) with other
information.
This would mean that as part of our deployment we would deploy B only and
our Enterprise team would have their own copy of A.
Q. Is this possible?
Thanks
