I just tried WINDBG to read the DMP file and noticed that here it is
read correctly, so:
- I have an application, built using Visual Studio 2005 SP1.
- I have a .DMP file, created by the application, using
MiniDumpWriteDump with the type MiniDumpWithIndirectlyReferencedMemory
- The .DMP file can be read by Visual Studio 2005 SP1, but shows no
call stack (and no kind of error message in sight)
- The .DMP file can be read by WINDBG, with a correct call stack
Any suggestions how to make this work in Visual Studio 2005 SP1?
