RE: Immediate Window

Hi,

The default VS2005 IDE "Debug"->"Windows" will contain the "Immediate" menu
item, so I assume your IDE is changed by something/someone. Anyway, we have
2 solutions in this situation:
1. You may open "Tools"->"Import and Export settings" dialog and use "Reset
all settings" option to reset all the IDE default settings. I assume this
will help you to retrieve the "Immediate" menu item.
2. You may add the "Immediate" menu item manually. You may select
"Tools"->"Customize..." menu option and switch to "Commands" tabpage. In
the left listbox, you may select "Debug" item, and then find "Immediate"
item in the right side of listbox. Finally, you may drag this "Immediate"
item and move the mouse to the "Debug"->"Windows" submenu of VS2005 IDE,
then you may drop the "Immediate" item to the position you want. I assume
this will help you to retrieve the "Immediate" window you are missing.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Jeffrey Tan

where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support

most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
