Hi Dale,
Based on the description, the problem is your VB.NET application cannot
work in a Win2K3 server machine and a XP Pro machine after the
installation. Please correct me if I misunderstood anything.
In order to isolate this problem, we may need to clarify some points:
1. Have you got any problem during the installation procedure of your
VB.NET application?
2. Does the client machine have the perquisites: mdac 2.8 & net 2
framework? If not, if you installed them manually to the client machine, is
it OK?
3. Where do you get that clr error in the Windows 2003 server machine, in
the event log or a exception dialog box?
Those information/tests will help us to research your issue, I appreciate
your time to perform them. Feel free to let me know the results at your
earliest convenience.
