RE: One of the "Unable to start debugging on the web server" issue

Thanks for your response.

I definatly prefer using IIS website then file system.

What exectly you mean by "use a local Administrator to create and debug your
web site"? My domain account (which I am using to login to machine) is in the
local administrator group.

Are you saying to loging to the machine using local Administrator user? I
cannot do that because as per my company policy we don't have password for
local Administrator user. Is there something that I can do to impersonate my
login with administrator user (or something like that)?

Hi,

Is your home pc joined in the domain of your office and you're logged in
using your domain user account?

If this is the case, then a possible cause is that when VS2005 starts
debugging, it needs to contact your domain controller of your office.

As a workaround, I would suggest you to use a local Administrator to create
and debug your web site, or use the File System mode instead of local IIS
to author your web site.
