I have just installed VS.net 2003 onto a Windows 2003 server, which was already running IIS, and am developing web applications for ASP.net v. 1.1
The problem is that currently I'm unable to debug my development project. I
may "start without debugging" which runs the project, but every time I try
to "start" I get the following error message.
"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the
web server. Could not start ASP.NET or ATL Server debugging.
Verify that ASP.NET or ATL Server is correctly installed on the
server."
I have found w3wp.exe on the server, and the server is where the VS.net
package was installed.
I'd appreciate any advice or hints or help with this issue. TIA
