VS 2003 Solution Hangs from Start (F5)

I've been using VS 2003 for about a month now without problems. Starting two
days ago however, I can Build or Rebuild a simple Win Forms solution (Config
= Debug), and it'll run fine if I use Start Without Debugging (Ctrl+F5). If
I try to use just Start (F5), I'll get a ±5 second hour-glass, and then the
application just hangs. I have to Task Manager kill VS 2003 to get it
working again. This also happens if I use Config = Release.

Task Manager shows no system activity, only System Idle Process at 99%.

I use a Dell XPS with Intel HT Pentium4 3.2GHz and 2GB RAM, running WinXP
Pro SP2.

Can anyone tell me how to get around this?
