The error message seems pretty informative. Have you checked the IIS
settings for the virtual directory where your applicaiton is running from?
Make sure that it is set to run as an application. Does your application
run fine when you do not debug?

#I keep getting erros when I try to step through the code and debug. It
runs and gives a webpage with the following message. The following was cut
and pasted.

details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.
Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as
allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error
can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application
in IIS.
