Hi i've just bought a new all in one printer from Canon.
Its the Pixma MP190 and i have trouble using the scanner with MP Navigator EX V1.2
I can without any problems print and make copy's with the inbuild scanner but
whenever i try to do a scan i get a "cannot communicate with scanner" error and tells me to check the usb cable.
I tried all solutions i could find like installing with admin rights / reinstalling /resetting /
installing in safe mode / restarting the WIA service in services.msc / tried different USB ports on my pc /
turning off usb 2.0 (this one was absolutely useless 'cause i couldn't use my usb mouse en keyboard)
setting PCI1 (irq) from auto to 7 / Damn there are so many things more i tried but no avail...
it's weekend and i'm still trying to find a solution for this issue and it's driving me nuts...
I really would appraciate if someone coould help me with this issue...
What could i do other then dump this canon inside a garbage can and go for another expensive one or other brand???
Any help would be appreciated...
.
