Is the boot order in the bios setup still seeing the optical drive set
as the 1st drive in the boot order? Once the initial setup files are
copied onto the hard drive you have to re-enter the bios to set the hard
drive as first in the order there.
A method for avoiding the need to enter the bios setup when installing
Windows is to leave the hard drive as first and bring up the boot device
menu by using the F1, F8, F12, or other F key assigned to that for the
one time boot session. Upon the initial restart the hard drive then
boots seeing the installation completed.
