It really depends on what the update adds or fixes in the BIOS, but it
can make a big difference in how your system runs. The updates are
usually to improve motherboard compatibility with devices, or to fix any
bugs found in the previous BIOS version.
I'm happy to hear that it seems to be working fine for now for you.
