Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Windows Update > View update log. Look for updates with status unsuccessful.

Search for the KB number at Microsoft Download Center, download the update and install it manually.

Should you need to uninstall updates, open up Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall program > View updates. Keep in mind that removing an update may not always be possible.
