i don't really want to unistall the program becaues its the only firewall,.
virus and spywear program that i have and i don't want to go out and pay for
another virus program when i payed to have this one for 3 yrs.
even when i shutdown mcafee, the error still occurs.
the program itself is up to date and hasn't been changed since it was put on
my computer by dell.
so i think its another problem.
does anyone know of anything else is could possibly be?

Hi,
Uninstall McAfee, does the problem go away? There are plenty of alternatives
to Network Associate's bloatware.

thanks.
linds
program you are using)??
Next time it happens, write down the large number that it shows,
something that will start with (0,0000000A) etc etc. Put them in a note
here, as it is those numbers that will point you to the cause of the
problem. As it is a Dell, if you download the latest Dell Assistant
software, that may also point you to a cause and solution.
