Search the Internet for the term computer Internet parental control.

err i dont quite understand. but overall what were you saying is that
the modem usually does the authentication for me and why will i want to
do it myself. well actually my parents were trying to restrict internet
usage by setting this but it was broken when this problem occured.
anyway do so anyway?
