This is how stupid Vista is

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Saying Vista is lame and stupid doesn't do it justice.

Try this. Move a large video file, about 1GB. Vista will start to try,
show the progress bar, then say need permission, suggesting it failed
to move it. Clicking on it trying to enable permission is useless and
has no effect. The catch is I have UAC OFF, so I shouldn't even see
this screen. Worse it shows as moved to the new folder which is on
another drive. That's right, dumb as a stump Vista at the same time
says the file is moved to the new folder (it was) and nags it can't
move it because of permission issues in spite of UAC being off which
should negate any permission bull crap.

Now if that isn't stupid enough, it shows as being in both the old and
new folders AFTER successfully completing the move. Oh wait, refresh
and it finally clears from the old folder, the UAC nags screen then
goes away but sometimes it won't if you just rename a folder, both
folders show until you actually shut down Windows Explorer.

Vista is so totally screwed up it's laughable to watch it stumble over
it's own too numerous to count coding mistakes.

I really enjoy watching Zach, my all time favorite Microsoft brown
nose making clumsy attempts to be Microsoft's main apologist in this
newsgroup with their endless blunders poor old Zach is too busy
shaking his finger at other vendors he can never find time to address
obvious Microsoft mistakes.

ROTFLMAO!
