Re: Volume too low in VISTA

What type of monitor do you have? What brand? Does the monitor have
built in speakers? This all makes a big difference. I have an HP 19" lcd
that has built in speakers. I too had to turn volume all the way up just
to here at a normal level. Sound quailty and volume are poor on most lcd
monitors these days.I had an old (ac)powered set by Altec Lansing that I
paid $8 for at my walmart and hooked them up and the sound was 20 times
better than the shotty factory built ins. I would try a inexpensive set
of speakers and see if that will do it for you. Now you can get ac
powered and usb,(no power cord on usb-just plug in usb to usb port). I
have both. Both work great. Hope this helps.
