Based on past experiences, I trust Microsoft less. I believe you that the Microsoft product is highly compatible and effective, but the Avast problem was a mistake, correct? I don't trust Microsoft to never make a mistake. Microsoft is certainly better than a few companies that show intentional disregard of quality.

On Dec. 3, 2009 at approx. 7 PM Pacific time avast sent out a false
positive.....I was on my computer and sent all the "trojans" to the virus
chesrt and cleaned them up...that deleted a lot of files that screwed up my
computer....I'm not he only one. Google avast false positive and see the
what happened...I still have problems....
