Re: create an association, windows mail

What happens if you save the .pdf attachment, and then double-click on
that saved file? If it opens in Adobe Reader, that may be the best you can do,
as I'm not aware of any other fixes.

Hi Gary,

I have the exact same problem as jardin and the above solution did not work
for me either. After running unassoc, running Adobe reader as administrator
and repairing its install, Windows Mail will then open .pdf files with .....
Powerpoint! And when I re-associate .pdf with Adobe Reader, I'm back to
square 1.....

Hi Shawn and thx for your help. Unfortunately it didn't work though
what was described by the "fix" was exactly my prob. (see original
post). I downloaded "unassociate" file and "unassociated" my .pdf
files. I than went into Abobe and Help and asked to "repair Adobe
instal"...When I tried to open a .pdf in window mail it tried to open
via windows photo...i than 'associated' .pdf's back to Adobe and got the
same error message again. Ugh...any more ideas? Thanks for any and all
ur help.
