Sorry about that. I will try to explain better...

I have a business website. Through my hosting company, I got an email
account. Their email software is not user friendly.

Do they have POP and SMTP servers? They typically do, and that information
is what you typically want to use.

So I was wondering if I
could get my email from my business email account to be delivered to my
windows live (hotmail)account.

Probably. At your site host, specify that you are forwarding to your
Hotmail account.

However, you may then find that when you reply, people see the reply as
coming from hotmail, not from your business.

I tried putting in the pop3 info and it came back with an error.

Where exactly are you entering this? In Windows Live Mail client software
or on the Hotmail web interface? This is an extremely important
distinction.

If you're forwarding, the configuration is done at your host's site, not at
Hotmail.

I am not sure if what I am asking, can be done? Or do I
have to have the premium version.

I'm now not sure exactly what you are asking, but you can either configure
Windows Live Mail (WLM) to use your host's POP and SMTP servers, or forward
the business mail to Hotmail, and then download that with Windows Live Mail.

If so, do I need to confirm with my hosting company the pop3 and port
info?

If you want to connect to their POP and SMTP servers, you definitely need
that information. If you are forwarding the mail to Hotmail, you don't
need it, because you just tell the host what address to forward the mail to.

Forwarding this way does not help you with having replies look like they
come from your business.

It isn't clear what you mean by "link".
How do you currently retrieve email messages from your Live account?

I have a Windows live account. I have a business website and would like
to
link that email account to my Windows Live account so that I can get
all my
messages in one. Is this possible? I tried and it and got an error
connecting to the pop3 server.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks
