*Email Settings*
You will need the following information from Persona:
*Email Settings:**Current Settings:*Incoming mail
server:mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net,
mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.caOutgoing mail
server:mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net,
mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.caUsername and Password:Click here if you do
not already have an email account name and password.


Changing Your Incoming and Outgoing Email Settings
*Outlook Express 4.x/5.x/6.x, Microsoft Outlook 98/2000*

- Open the mail program (Outlook Express. etc.)
- Select Tools.
- Select Accounts.
- Click the Mail tab at the top of the window.
- Click the Properties button.
- Click the Servers tab.
- Change the incoming mail server to mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Change the outgoing mail server to mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click OK
- Click Close and Outlook is now set up for email!MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 97
- Open Outlook 97 and go to your "Tools" menu and choose "Services".
- Double-click on "Internet Email".
- Type (mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca,
mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca) under "Internet
Mail Server".
- Click Advanced Options.
- The outbound mail server should read mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click OK twice.
- Close any open email and re-open Outlook. It is now set up for
email!MICROSOFT OUTLOOK XP (2002)
- Open Outlook XP and go to your "Tools" menu and choose "E-Mail
Accounts".
- Choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click Next.
- Select your email account from the list and click "Change".
- Edit the "Incoming mail server" and change to
mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net,
mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Edit the "Outgoing mail server" and change to
mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net,
mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click Next.
- Click Finish, and Outlook XP is all set to get email!NETSCAPE 4.X
- Select Preferences from the Edit pull-down menu at the top of the
Netscape window.
- Click the + sign next to Mail & Newsgroups.
- Click on Mail servers.
- Click the Edit button to change the incoming mail server name.
- Change the incoming mail server name to mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click OK to close the Edit window.
- Change the outgoing mail server name to mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click OK to save the changes to the Netscape Preferences.NETSCAPE 6.X
- Open Netscape 6.x, and open the "Tasks" menu, and choose "Mail and
Newsgroups".
- Open your "Edit" menu, and choose "Mail and Newsgroups Account
Settings"
- On the left side, click "Outgoing Server (SMTP) and enter
mail.personainternet.com, mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net,
mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca where it says "Server Name:" on the
right.
- Click "New Account".
Note: You will need to delete the existing account and create a new
one since you can't edit the incoming mail server settings.
- Choose "ISP or email provider" and click Next.
- Under "Your Name", fill in your name as you'd normally write it for
people.
- Under "Email Address", type in your email address
(username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
- Click Next.
- Under "Select the type of incoming server you are using", choose
"POP".
- Under "Server Name", type mail.personainternet.com,
mail.persona.ca, mail.cyberbeach.net, mail.isys.ca, mail.log.on.ca
- Click Next.
- Under "User Name" type your username.
- Click Next twice.
- Click "finish" and you're all set!

Your account name in your mail program's settings should only include
the first part of your email address and not the domain name (eg:
username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Passwords are case-sensitve, so "SeCrEt" is not the same as "secret".

- Open Outlook Express
- Click Tools
- Click Accounts
- Click Mail
- Select the Persona email account
- Click Properties
- Click the Servers tab
- Enter your correct username and password
-*Note:* Make sure there are no spaces before, after, or in the
middle of either your account name or password.-
- Click OK
