Gary
I went to Tools, Options, Security. Make sure the last two boxes are not
checked. they were not checked
Then click on Digital IDs. There should not be any entries in
that screen. there was an entry i removed the entry
If no improvement, delete that mail account, restart Windows Mail,
then recreate the account.
the first acct i created was the1princess@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
pop.att.yahoo.com
smtp.att.yahoo.com
when i loaded the mail program no error message aqppeared
Then i put in the second acct cte1@xxxxxxxx
mail.5to9.net pop
smtp.att.yahoo.com
now i get the error message, if i delete the acct and just use the1princess
account no error message.
Thanks Carolyn

The following is the error message
the server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could
not be verfied.
A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which
is not trusted by the trust provider. Do you want to continue using this
server yes no

What is the exact error message?
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
