Gary, thanks so much for your help, I got with ATT and they finished it up
for me.....but I couldn't have got that far without you. Now, after sending
out emails all day WM has started askingfor the respective user name and
password for each account. What now?

Well, we need to get you a working email account that uses a port other.
than 25 for SMTP. Once you have that set up and working properly,
we can take the next step by utilizing that proven SMTP server in your
suppersdirect.com account.

I'm sorry I'm even more confused.....how will setting up a new account in
Windows Mail change the fact that I can't send mail through the two different
Domain.coms I'm involved with?

If it's SBC, you can use the send settings given here:
http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=10707
Either set up a separate account in Windows Mail for AT&T (SBC), or
else substitute their send settings for your current send settings in
your existing suppersdirect account. If you need more help with that,
let me know. In order to use this approach, you need to know your
AT&T username and password.

I believe it's SBC.

I'm not sure what your reference to an option in McAfee pertains to.
McAfee should not be allowed to interfere with your email in any way, shape, or form.
AT&T has three major divisions: former SBC, former Bellsouth, and WorldNet.
Do you know which division you are with? Do you have an email address through
AT&T? If so, what is the part after the @ symbol?

I believe it's ATT.........back to that idiot thing,..... although I do
remember seeing something in McAfee or somewhere, giving me an option, so if
you can walk me through it that would be great!

Your settings are correct now, but it looks like you are running into a
port 25 block, see http://www.postcastserver.com/help/Port_25_Blocking.aspx
If you are sending from home, you need to substitute the SMTP server
belonging to your home ISP. If you need help with that, let me know who
your home ISP is.

That changed nothing, but this message........The connection to the server
has failed. Subject 'test1', Account: 'suppersdirect.com', Server:
'suppersdirect.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have already done all of that, with both companies that I
represent.......what else?

The server name appears to be incorrect. You will have to check with
whoever provides it, to get the correct name and settings.

I have just set up my windows mail, I did so for business reasons so that
I
might keep my personal emails (I'm with yahoo) seperate from business. My
business emails come from the companies server address. I can receive
emails
from these companies, and others, but am unable to send anything. I
receive
this message..
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test1', Account:
'suppersdirect.com', Server: 'suppersdirect.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E....
I am an idiot so please be painfully simple in any help you can
give.....thanks!
