Some people will use Word for their emails and that
causes problems for some email services/clients.
A test email to yourself will work whether it is an
attachment or embedded image(s). The only
problem is that someone else might not see exactly
what you are seeing and vice versa.

Thanks Gary,
My settings are as you stated.
The graphics are not attachments, but are within the text of the email.
Does this make a difference?

The most likely explanation is that the recipient has something mis-settings:
configured on their end. However, you should double-check your
address
Make sure the image you are attaching is not open in
another program.
Make sure attachments are enabled:
Tools, Safety Options, Security, uncheck "Block images..." and also
uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."
Also go to Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, HTML Settings,
make sure "Send pictures with messages" is checked.
The next time you send an email with graphics, put your own email
on the BCC line. When you receive that email, you can verify that thegraphics
are indeed in the sent email.news:D0F31677-3588-4F31-83CA-C906322B6495@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
