I have a problem with my Vista home Premium that is somehow connected
to Windows Mail. On my desktop, 4 icons show up that when I delete
them, put them in the recycle bin and empty the bin, they show up
again when I go into Windows Mail the next time. They are labled
edb.chk, edb.log, edbres00001.jrs and edbres00002.jrs. When I double
click any on of them, the title says Notepad and the message is just
a bunck of gobble-de-gook. Any recommendations as to what they are
and how to permently get rid of them?

Doing a bit of Googling on the issue suggests that this may be something to do with McAfee Anti-Virus. Are you using this?
